ABSTRACT
This study explores the defining features of culturally responsive classroom management and its impact on effective teaching within multicultural classrooms. The primary objective is to identify key management strategies suitable for culturally diverse educational settings by synthesizing findings from existing empirical research. Adopting a basic qualitative research design, the study employed documentary analysis of 20 peer-reviewed studies published between 2003 and 2023. The findings reveal that effective culturally responsive classroom management is rooted in teachers’ development of cultural self-awareness, the creation of inclusive and supportive learning environments, and the use of disciplinary strategies aligned with students’ cultural contexts. Additionally, teacher-student relationships grounded in cultural responsiveness were found to significantly enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
